Apr 2007 Nuclear Live Steam Large Scale Project in Korea

At the end of 2006 Bopp & Reuther has been awarded another large scale project in Korea since they were providing four pressurised water reactors in 2005 in India with the newly developed safety valve for steam (Si95).

The new project is about four reactor units and includes 64 safety valves manufactured according to the American regulation for nuclear applications ASME Sec III. The Si 95 is the further development of the reliable SiZ, which is used a thousand fold in nuclear power plants all over the world. The new steam valve is certified by the National Board and certified according to the NV-Stamp.

With this project Bopp & Reuther SR reaches a favourable basic position for prospective reactors of the new category 1400 mw.
