Strong Growth in Petrochemical Projects

As a result of increased orders and awards of large scale projects Bopp & Reuther SR GmbH is reaching strong growth in the Petrochemical Industry.

ABB Lummus Global has been awarded a contract from Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd. (SEPL) for the basic design and engineering package for a world-scale Ethylene Cracker complex to be located on Pulau Bukum Island, Singapore. Together with our Dutch representative HITMA Process we have been awarded the supply of initially 650API safety valves for the Ethylene Cracker project by Shell Eastern Petroleum Ltd. in Singapore via ABB Lummus.

The contract also includes compulsory purchase from the second Engineering contractor Foster Wheeler (UK) and Foster Wheeler (Singapore), together with all the OEM’s being part of this major grass root project. The scope from Foster Wheeler is about 400 additional pressure safety valves.
